Your Guide to CU Boulder: Welcome to The Hill

Arthur Taratuta is one of Surviving College’s Campus Reps for CU Boulder.

Welcome to CU Boulder, constantly ranked the number one school and city in health, happiness, intelligence, and creativity. Accompanied by good academics, and the all elusive third place in the 2013 Playboy Party rankings, it is easy to see why you will never hear anybody complain about going to CU. Aside from maybe our football team, what’s to complain about really?

We have great views…

View of the Flat Irons mountains from Chautauqua trial on another beautiful Boulder day. One of over 300 sunny days per year here.

…Good food

Chicken, steak, quinoa, and every vegetable you can think of topped off with avocado, make the Paleo bowl at The Corner one of the best and healthiest meals on the hill.

…Awesome parties

Typical Tuesday night in Boulder. Just kidding! St. Patrick’s day on Marine Street — one of Boulder’s best parties.

…And great athletics

If you enjoy skipping class to ski at one of the dozen world-class ski resorts located less than two hours away, devoting an entire Saturday to day drinking and going to Folsom Field to watch the Buffs lose every football game, “touring” one of the many micro breweries downtown, and driving up to the top of Flagstaff to enjoy a cold beer, you are a true Buff. Keep up with Surviving College CU-Boulder team all year to read about all good things Buffs and Boulder.

Go Buffs!
