Instead of going out to clubs on the weekends or spending money elsewhere, for a mere $12 a month, I have guaranteed entertainment at the tip of my fingers. Okay, I admit: I’m an avid Netlfix-binger (Breaking Bad is my fave). I shamelessly deny weekend excursions to catch up on my favorite shows. Come on, we all do it! Right?

When I’m not watching House of Cards, The Walking Dead, or Mad Men, I like to clear my mind with fun, lighthearted shows. Netflixing (I’m unsure if this is even a word, but hey, it gets the point across) is more tiresome than you think!

Need a mental break? Here are 5 feel good shows to watch on Netflix!

1. Malcolm in the Middle

Oh Dewey, you always find a way to warm my heart. Even though I’ve never pounced on my siblings before, I can appreciate Dewey’s ingenuity—Malcolm in the Middle is an instant classic!

 2. Bob’s Burgers

Admittedly, I was reluctant to watch Bob’s Burgers. All of my assumptions disappeared after a few episodes. Bob’s Burgers is engrossing and effortlessly hilarious. Be prepared to laugh!

3. The Office

The Office gets everything right about office culture: from meetings to cubicle parties, you’re guaranteed fits of laughter in every episode.

 4. Parks & Recreation

Ya’ll, I’m a little behind the Parks & Recreation bandwagon, but I’m sure glad I joined! Amy Poehler never disappoints, did I mention Aziz Ansari is also a cast member? ‘Nuff said.

 5. That 70’s Show

One word: Ashton Kutcher. Need I say more?
