Fall is great.  It’s an awesome season.  Arguably the best and for many reasons, at least I think so.  Pumpkin Spice everything comes back, I can bring out my sweaters, and I love the brisk air!  One of the greatest things about Fall though, are all the movies that come out, and this Fall, expect many and I mean, many great movies.  This fall we have a lot of long-awaited sequels, some extremely long-awaited (looking at you Dumb and Dumber To) and some great Thrillers, Comedies, Dramas, and Rom-Com’s.  It was hard to do it, but I broke down what five movies you should definitely see this fall.

No Good Deed

Idris Elba and Taraji P. Henson star in this thriller.  Henson plays a former District Attorney, now stay-at-home mom who lets a stranger, played by Idris Elba, into her and her two children’s home after Elba says he lost control of his car and needs to call for help.  Henson reluctantly tries to help Elba but has mistakenly allowed him to terrorize her family.  It’s crazy seeing Idris Elba in a role as villainous as this and Taraji P. Henson looks incredible.  This is going to be a good movie and will probably make me a freak about locking doors and windows. No Good Deed comes out September 12th.

2. Dumb and Dumber To

Thank goodness, thank goodness!  The long awaited sequel to Dumb and Dumber (please let’s pretend that Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd never happened) finally hits theaters this fall.  Twenty years later, Harry and Lloyd embark on a new journey to find Harry’s long lost daughter and Lloyd is in love again. I am a huge Dumb and Dumber fan so this kind of completes my life in a way. I can’t wait. Watch the trailer, I promise it’s pretty hilarious and will hopefully be as great as the first one. Mark your calendars, it comes out November 14th and I will probably be at the midnight premiere.

3. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1

This movie is part 1 of the third novel in the Hunger Games trilogy, Mockingjay.  I know there are some who haven’t read the books, so I don’t want to give to give anything away.  In The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 expect a lot of action.  Also, expect a lot of new faces.  Julianne Moore, Evan Ross (Diana Ross’ son and Ashlee Simpson’s hubby), and Natalie Dormer are some of the new faces you will see in this epic story.  The story continues as Katniss Everdeen tries to save Peeta and her nation as she has become a symbol of hope for all of Panem.  That’s it! I’m not saying anymore, I don’t want to ruin it! Watch it November 21st in theaters!

4. Annabelle

I hate scary movies, absolutely loathe them.  My friends hate me because I never want to watch a scary movie with them or if I do, my eyes are closed the whole time.  But I do know that there are horror movie fanatics, so this movie right here is for you. It is a spin-off of The Conjuring which makes the desire I have to not watch this movie so much stronger. According to the MPAA, “Annabelle will be intense and disturbing.” Yeaaaaah. No thanks. I just watched the trailer for it and almost crapped my pants.  I don’t even want to talk about it anymore, I’m too scared. Watch the trailer, you’ll get it.  Annabelle comes out in theaters on October 3rd.

5. The Equalizer

Denzel Washington. Need I say more? Check it out on September 26th.
