For students, it can be hard to find gifts for everybody on your list that also fit in your budget. But it doesn’t have to be this way. If you really think about it, there’s a ton of things you can buy or make for under $10. Here’s a list of ideas to get your started:

Phone Cases

Who doesn’t need a case for their phone? Stores like Cellz sell tons of different ones for $3 or $4 each.

Homemade Coupons

you can make these for anyone on your list, catered to them. Make coupon sfor things like free massages for your significant other, free babysitting for your parents, switching chores with your siblings.

Picture Frame with Photos

This is great for your parents to have a way to remember you by while you’re at college or for a significant other so they can display a photo of you in their room. Places like Walmart and Target will have tons of cheap options.

Everyone needs a calendar. How else do you stay organized? Finding one that fits into their interests, like pictures of dogs or their favorite sports team, is a great gift if you’re on a budget.

You can buy mugs from Target, or buy a plain white mug from any store, and decorate it yourself! Simply write on it with sharpie and bake it in the oven. Easy to customize and really cheap.

Gift Certificate to Dunkin Donuts/Starbucks

Starbucks might be a little pricey, but getting someone $10 at Dunkin Donuts will go a long way. Perfect for the coffee or tea lover in your family.

If you know someone has a sweet tooth, splurge on some of their favorite candies. Throw it in a little basket or box with some tissue paper and a handwritten note, it shows that you’re thinking of them.

Boxed gifts

Places like Barnes and Noble will have small little knick-knacks before you check out, and if you see any regarding a book series or something that a friend likes, that would be a perfect gift.

Assortment of Small Items

Visit a dollar store or Walmart and look around for small trinkets that don’t cost much. Throw in with some candy too if you’d like, and make it a small assortment of things your loved one would enjoy.

Homemade Desserts

Make some homemade cookies or cupcakes! Everyone loves dessert, and you probably have a lot of the ingredients on hand anyway, saving you a lot of money.
