How to Get a Girlfriend at College

Going to college is one of the biggest events in your life. Not only will you have the freedom to go where you want without anyone telling you what to do, but you’ll also have the chance to embrace the world of dating. If you’ve never had a girlfriend before, this is the perfect time to seek out your dream girl. Or if you’ve dated girls in high school, but have moved cities to go to college, you’ll probably want to find a new girlfriend who goes to your school. Getting a girlfriend whilst at college takes time, but if you find the right girl, it really can enrich your time there. You’ll have a partner in crime to have fun with and a shoulder to cry on during hard times.  Reference – Life Lesson From The Girl Code

Have realistic expectations

If you’ve gone through your entire life waiting for the right person, your expectations are probably pretty high. You’ll no doubt be seeking an insanely beautiful and wonderfully witty woman who fits your entire litany of “must-haves”. However, it’s important to realize that the perfect woman may not exist. You’re never going to find someone who conforms to your exact idea of what a girlfriend should be. If you really want to get a girlfriend in college, then date lots of women, rather than waiting for a figment of your imagination! Relationships are about embracing the other person, good and bad.

Join college clubs

One of the best ways to get a girlfriend is to join clubs. It’s wise to join one that interests you, as this will improve your chances of meeting a girl who enjoys similar activities. However, it’s also a great idea to step outside of your comfort zone and try new things. You never know who you might meet at the Chocolate Society or the Harry Potter Society! When you join college clubs, you can expect to meet a lot of students who you would otherwise never have met on campus. If you’re from India, China, Japan or elsewhere in Asia, and you want to chat with Asian girls, why not join the Asian Society. It can help you to meet ladies who understand your culture and way of life.

Go to classes in your first week

Many students choose to skip the first week of classes as they tend to focus more on general orientation, rather than the actual teaching of course material. However, this isn’t a good idea. This first week of lectures is the perfect opportunity to meet and build a rapport with many (interesting and attractive!) students on your course and build solid friendships that will last for many years to become.

Get Partying!

One of the best things about college is that there are always parties to attend. In fact, college students celebrate everything and anything, and so there’s always an excuse to party! Parties provide the ideal environment to relax and chat to girls and maybe even meet a new girlfriend. If you’re not a big drinker, don’t worry, as parties don’t always need to revolve around getting blasted. It could mean checking out a band at a local music venue or dining at a great restaurant. Don’t drink alcohol just to fit in, as this is unlikely to help you to meet the right girl for you.

Try to be confident

Whilst there’s nothing wrong with being a wallflower, it can often be a barrier to meeting girls. After all, if you ever want something to happen with the girl in your psychology class who you’ve been admiring from afar for months, you simply need to find the confidence to approach her. If you’re serious about getting a girlfriend at college, you need to stop playing it safe and take some risks. Sure, you may get rejected, and it may sting for a bit, but eventually, you will find the right girl for you.

Don’t rush her!

Once you’ve been dating a girl for a while and you’re pretty sure you’ve found your perfect match, your thoughts may begin to turn to sex. However, it’s a good idea to let her set the pace. Rather than rushing into something physical, take things slow and really get to know her. This will make your relationship stronger and make it much more likely that it will last the distance. After all, everyone knows that a guy who only has one thing on his mind is a big turn-off for most girls! Remain a gentleman, and you won’t go far wrong.

Many people assume that finding a girlfriend at college is easy, especially as there are literally thousands of girls on campus. However, it can actually be very challenging, particularly if you’re trying to balance classes, extracurricular activities and possibly even a job. Hopefully, we’ve provided some helpful advice to help you get a girlfriend at college!
