Just like your average college student, I love browsing the internet for fun and useful websites. Here are a best of the great websites for students that I have found.

1. Free Rice

Ever felt like ending world hunger while learning Spanish? Welcome to Free Rice. Answer multiple choice questions in every subject you can think of, from math to geography, and donate 10 grains of rice for each question that you get right.

2. Rate My Professors

This college version of Rate My Teachers is a must bookmark for any university student. You can look up almost any of your prospective professors on the site and make informed decisions about which course you want to take.

3. Spotify

Take a break from studying and listen to your favorite music with Spotify. Search up songs, make playlists, access those playlists anywhere, and integrate seamlessly with Facebook.

4. Wolfram Alpha

Wolfram Alpha is the ultimate studying tool. It’s the problem-solving engine of the future, where human knowledge is combined with computational power.  Don’t let your homework problems go unanswered ever again.

5. TED

The best, free recorded speeches in the world can be found on TED Talk’s website. Inspirational speakers deliver eloquent words on almost every topic imaginable and their speeches are immortalized in video form on TED’s site. I personally found procrastination to never be so thought-provoking.
