You all probably know that Memorial Day is the first “official” day of summer, and you’re probably already barbecuing up a storm or at the beach with your family and friends. You also already know that Memorial Day is a holiday dedicated to honoring and remembering our soldiers, veterans, and those who sacrificed their lives in wars fighting for our country’s freedom. If you’ve already taken the time out to thank a veteran for serving and you’re already enjoying a beautiful day with your loved ones, it’s time to brush up on some Memorial Day facts.
