Living Alone vs Living with Roommates

Whether during college or entering into the real world, it is important to think about your living situation. It all depends on what kind of person  you are, but there is always the debate of what is better: living alone or living with roommates. Although there are several different factors that may effect your decision such as finances, if you’re an introvert or extrovert, your location, etc, you really cannot go wrong either way. Living alone is great if you have a busy schedule that constantly revolves around people and so sometimes home is a place you want to have to yourself, but living with friends or roommates can give you entertainment and can be a lot of fun. There are definitely pros and cons to both, but it is most important to think about what would suit you and your living habits best!

Here we are going to look at the pros to both situations:

Living Alone:

Getting back from a long day of work and relaxing in peace and quiet

Having all the food in your fridge to yourself

Don’t want to go out? No one to force you

Keeping your house clean and dancing while you do it!

Living with Roommates:

You’ll get a friendly greeting after a long day at work:

Need positive reinforcement?

If you have trouble waking up, you always have someone to force you out of bed!

Drunk eating together and sharing food always leads to good stories!

Would you rather live alone or with roommates?
