Guys, guys, guys. Stop everything you’re doing. Kraft has recalled millions of boxes of mac and cheese.

According to the Associated Press,¬†6.5 million boxes are being recalled because some contain small pieces of metal — yes, metal!¬†Apparently, there have been eight cases where people found pieces of metal in their mac and cheese — talk about devastating.

The specific boxes in question were sold throughout America, Puerto Rico and some countries in the Caribbean and South America. The company is saying that if you purchased a box that has a sell by date from Sept. 18th 2015 through Oct. 11th 2015, and is marked with the code “C2,” you should return it immediately to the store you bought it from and get a full refund. “We deeply regret this situation and apologize to any consumers we have disappointed,” Kraft said.

Disappointed?! That doesn’t even begin to describe the hurt we feel…

Now, let’s just say you ate a box that has been recalled¬†— don’t freak out. Unless you’re feeling ill, or the recall was something very concerning like a poisoning, chances are you will be fine. But, it doesn’t hurt to go see a doctor who can run some test to make sure that’s the case.

Now, as far as we’re concerned, we’re going to have to stop eating Kraft Mac and Cheese for a little while, and switch to something else. In case you’re wondering, Kraft apparently isn’t even the best. According to Thrillist, Back To Nature is numero uno.

What do you think of this mac and cheese recall?
