You may remember that a while back, we did a giveaway with UncommonGoods and told you about some of our favorite products that are perfect for college students, including a math-themed set of shot glasses that we had also featured in our Ultimate Holiday Gift Guide for Nerds. Recently, they reached out to me about a new product available on their website: HTML-themed beer glasses. Naturally, I had to have them. They were gracious enough to send me a few to try out, and they are now my new favorite thing.
Perfect for the blogger, web designer, programmer, computer science major, or all-around-nerd, these HTML beer glasses allow you to drink your favorite beer (whether you fill ’em up with Guinness or PBR is up to you) while subtly showing off your awesome, geeky side.
As far as functionality goes, I love these glasses. They are the perfect size and rest comfortably in your hand (easy to pour and easy to drink from, which is essential!) and they’re unique and fun without being too bold or out-there. My only issue with them is that, due to their long, thin shape, they are a little difficult to hand wash in the sink. However, they are dishwasher safe, so if you’re lucky enough to be out of the dorms and living in a snazzy apartment with a dishwasher, you’ll be fine.
Let’s go over some specs. The glasses hold 16 ounces of the beer of your choosing, measure 8 inches high, and come in a set of 2 for the price of $25, making them a totally affordable gift (or #treatyoself indulgence…)
If you’re in love with these HTML beer glasses as much as I am, you can go here to order them.
