First things first, this video is the realest. Well, President Obama isn’t really rapping ‘Fancy,’ but this is close enough. The video just made our entire week.
Thanks to the power of editing, and some dude with a bunch of time on his hands, we stumbled across this amazingly hilarious video. By taking a million little one-word clips of Obama from various speeches and stringing them all together, this video has basically made our President into the next big rapper.
If this one doesn’t give you your fill, click over to the “baracksdubs” account on YouTube. There you’ll find Barack singing a cover of ‘Timber’ by Pitbull featuring Hilary Clinton, and another of him covering ‘Sexyback’ by Justin Timberlake. These videos are seriously gold. To make sure they’re not playing presidential favorites, the YouTube channel also has a video of former President Bill Clinton covering ‘Blurred Lines’ by Robin Thicke. It’s just too good.
Even though we know these videos are purposely and obviously edited, we still can’t help but laugh when we hear Obama singing phrases like, “you should want a bad b*tch like this, drop it low and pick it up just like this.” You have to watch it for yourself to understand. And when you’re done, watch another and try not to giggle when he says “it’s hard to look right at you baby, but here’s my number…” Yes, there’s a ‘Call Me Maybe’ cover too. What can we expect next? Who know’s… How about George Bush singing something by Rihanna?
