It’s getting hot in herre, so sit on your kitchen floor and drunkenly make popsicles?
It may not actually be what Nelly was talking about, but it is what YouTuber Hannah Hart is saying in her most recent installment of My Drunk Kitchen. With summer approaching, it’s already getting hot and muggy and gross outside. (Seriously. Where did spring even go?) And what better way to make it through the warmer weather than with frozen treats?
Hannah, while sitting on her floor because “heat rises” decided to show us how to make popsicles — or as she likes to call them, “popfickles” — with an ice cube tray, cranberry juice, lemonade, and of course, alcohol. Oh, and don’t forget the toothpicks — they’re pretty important. All you have to do is pour the ingredients into an ice tray, place in the toothpicks, and freeze, and ta-da! The perfect way to beat the heat.
The best part about these popsicles, outside of the fact that they’re easy to make (though not exactly spill proof so maybe don’t be drunk when you make them…) is that they can double as fun ice cubes for your vodka soda. Best served with a side of lame dad jokes, because Hannah knows what’s up.
