Have mercy! If you were a 90s kid, then you know who Jesse  and The Rippers are. But in case you need a refresher, Jesse and The Rippers were the fictional band from Full House staring John Stamos as Uncle Jesse, and his back-up band. They had a hit song, “Forever” (which was actually by the Beach Boys) that Uncle Jesse sang for Becky on their wedding day, as well as a number of other songs that they performed on the show.

But Jesse and The Rippers weren’t a real band in real life, right? Well, right, until Friday night. Jimmy Fallon brought John Stamos and his fictional band back from the 90s, and Jesse and The Rippers performed a medley of their hits including “Forever,” “Little Sister” (an Elvis song that they also covered) and “Hippy Hippy Shake” (originally by Chad Romero) as well as a cover of the Full House theme song. The band performed on stage under a banner that read “Smash Club” — true Full House fans know that this was the name of the night club Uncle Jesse opened on the show. And who was in the audience? Bob Saget (Danny Tanner) and Lori Loughlin (Aunt Becky), of course! In case you missed it, check out the video below.

Oh, and yes, John Stamos did wear a mullet for the show, because Uncle Jesse was nothing without his hair.
