It seems like everyone has been covering Rihanna’s song “Diamonds” lately and it’s easy to see why – it’s catchy, it has a positive message, and, well, people are crazy about Rihanna. Now, maybe we’re biased because we’re all about college students, but we just saw a cover of “Diamonds” done impeccably well by students at The Clive Davis Institute at New York University, and we’re impressed. More so, in fact, than by the original song (sorry RiRi!) Why? Because these talented NYU students made this entire cover video themselves – they sang, rapped, filmed, and produced it all on their own, and it looks like a professional music video. This is more than just your average YouTube video; you’ll be blown away by their vocal abilities, the quality of the video, and on top of that, it’s easy to see that they had a lot of fun in the process.
